Travel Itinerary Planner GuiGo

GuiGo is an iOS travel itinerary planner. Give it a destination, a number of days and the kind of trip you want, and it returns a day-by-day plan with the stops already in a sensible order. Built for family trips, scenic road routes and weekend daytrips.

For anyone facing the evening of tab-juggling that usually happens before a trip.

Why it exists

GuiGo takes a destination, a number of days and the kind of trip you want, then returns a day-by-day plan with the stops already in a sensible order. It is built for the cases generic planners handle badly: family trips with small children, scenic road routes instead of fastest-path directions, and weekend daytrips that have to be decided quickly. The point is to skip the evening of tab-juggling that usually happens before a trip.

What it does

  • Day-by-day itineraries built from destination, length and travel style
  • Road trip routes optimised for the drive, not the arrival time
  • Pin the places you care about and let the route form around them
  • Family and kids-friendly planning, down to baby-friendly stops

Where AI does the work

The itinerary is generated rather than assembled from a template. Destination, trip length and travel style go in; a model produces the day-by-day plan and the order of the stops, and route optimisation turns that into something actually drivable. The hard constraint is that the result has to look plausible to someone who knows the city, which is a considerably higher bar than listing the landmarks.

GuiGo questions.

What is GuiGo?

GuiGo is an iOS trip planner that builds a day-by-day itinerary from a destination, a trip length and a travel style, with the stops ordered so the days actually work rather than just listed.

What kind of trips is GuiGo built for?

The ones generic planners handle badly: family trips with small children, scenic road routes rather than fastest-path directions, and weekend daytrips that have to be decided quickly.

Does GuiGo plan road trips?

Yes. Road trip routes are optimised for the drive itself rather than the arrival time, and you can pin the places you already care about and let the rest of the route form around them.

Is GuiGo available yet?

GuiGo is built for iOS. The public App Store listing is not live yet, so there is no download link on this page until it is.
